About River's Edge

River’s Edge Mediation Center is owned and operated by three local experienced attorneys and mediators that have a passion for helping individuals find a peaceful outcome to their legal disputes. After mediating for many years within the confines of their law practices at Lake City Law, Peter C. Erbland, Fonda L. Jovick and Erik P. Smith decided that mediating in a quiet, comfortable, peaceful space with less distraction would be beneficial to the participants and attorneys that are involved in the mediation process. Another long-time local mediator and visionary, Charles B. Lempesis, generously offered his mediation center to them for use. Out of this very special offer, Charles’ vision for a mediation center in North Idaho, and a longstanding relationship amongst 4 friends and colleagues, River’s Edge Mediation Center was born, and the peacemaking legacy continues today.
